# RowCove plans, privacy and release boundaries

## Transparent planned pricing

RowCove Pro is planned at **US$15 per month** or **US$150 per year**. The yearly plan is a separate upfront annual charge; the monthly plan renews monthly until cancelled. Taxes and the final amount are shown at checkout. The public website currently identifies these as planned prices while the production checkout is being prepared.

The product is not priced by rows, columns, file size or number of queries in the published plan description. Operation availability still depends on the detected format and the entitlement. Preview is intended for trying the workflow and is bounded; full-file queries, profiling, charts, editing and Save copy require Pro when the application says so.

## Account actions

Use the same email for activation and restore. A user should be able to activate a new purchase, restore an existing subscription, view the current plan and manage renewal from the account flow. Do not ask an agent user to paste a payment key, license key or email code into a public prompt.

## Local privacy

RowCove processes dataset contents locally for the desktop workflows. Account and payment services receive the information needed for checkout, subscription and activation. MCP sends only the requested results to the connected AI client; a cloud-backed client may send those results to its model provider. Users should allow only the roots, fields and rows required for the task.

## Update and tamper boundaries

Published desktop updates are signed by the application update channel. Windows publisher signing and updater signing are separate controls. A local administrator who modifies the executable or protected storage is outside the guarantees a local application can provide. RowCove uses server reconciliation, signed entitlements, bounded offline access and revocation checks for ordinary use; it does not promise unbreakable DRM or perpetual access after a refund.

## Release status

The public Windows Preview can be evaluated without a paid account. Production paid release requires the final Windows publisher certificate, production commerce and license configuration, live activation/restore/revocation verification and final automatic install/restart acceptance. macOS runtime acceptance is a separate pending platform check.

## Support

Contact [support@rowcove.com](mailto:support@rowcove.com) with the RowCove version, action and error message. Do not attach private datasets, passwords, email codes, authorization values or raw local paths. Use a small synthetic mock file when support needs an example.
