RowCove processes your files on your Windows or macOS computer. The product does not upload file contents, filenames, paths or dataset samples to our servers. Preview and Pro use the same local engine.
What the commercial service receives
If you buy Pro, the Merchant of Record and our license service may process your email, order identifiers, subscription state and entitlement expiry. The desktop application stores the signed entitlement locally and keeps account session credentials in the operating system credential store. MCP responses are shared with the client you connect. If that client uses a cloud model, returned records may be sent to its provider. Authorize narrow roots and review data before sharing. The activation service stores an installation identifier to manage up to three active devices.
Website measurement
The website can count aggregate page views, plan selections and checkout confirmations. It stores only a day, an allowlisted page name, an event type and a broad referral category (direct, search, AI or referral). It does not store raw referrers, URL queries, email addresses, dataset details, advertising IDs or account tokens in these counters. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable client measurement. Counters are retained for up to 90 days. These approximate counters are not proof of payment or a measure of all AI search citations.
Optional desktop diagnostics
Crash reports and performance telemetry are disabled by default. If a future build offers opt-in diagnostics, it will remove file paths and data values before sending anything.
